This case report highlights a technique used to deflate the balloon after all reasonable avenues had been exhausted. CASE REPORT WebGeneral. Suprapubic aspiration of urine is a simple and safe technique for obtaining an uncontaminated specimen of urine in children. In stable children, perform before other invasive procedures such as venepuncture and lumbar puncture (in case the child voids) Apply KKIND principles throughout the procedure.
