This pump operates the waterfall only, so I think I can use the main pool pump while this if offline. That loud grinding noise is the sound of bad bearings. If the bearings weren’t going bad before then running the pump while it is actively leaking may have played a part in them going bad. You can try replacing the motor bearings, or replacing the B625 motor, or replacing the whole PB460.
