WebDec 2, 2024 · I've got a 2024 JLU Sport S that's developed a water leak. The Jeep is always parked pointing downhill. I noticed the leak about 6 weeks ago and Made sure the hard top was seated correctly and that the roof drains and cowls were clear. It was raining. I didn't notice any water coming in around the doors...so I thought I got lucky. WebNov 23, 2024 · Which baffles me because my first thought was that the drain tube had gotten stopped up. But with the A/C running you can see the water dripping out from under the Jeep and when you pop the hood you can visually see water coming out of the drain tube. We are going to get it figured out today. It is suppose to be in the 100's again today.

The firewall rubber is pretty dense and packed in there. Doubt it would leak. You could always do a water test (simulate rain). If you got it apart for paint, replace it. Much easier with seats removed. You can do it without pulling the whole dash but ya gotta pull out the lower part of the heating unit.
