Would not launch on Kubuntu 22.10 with Experimental, switched to GE-Proton7-45 and it ran without issue. Performance is great. Did not play for very long so I can't speak for any crash issues.

ESO is designed to be very compatible with controllers so you could play it on the deck without a lot of settings tweaked. Guild wars 2 is a better game imo but it will need you to make a control profile.
