WebOct 1, 2024 · There are 3 microswitches on the Boxster, one in the hand brake that triggers the "Park" light on the dash, a second switch in the top latch, that drops the windows a few inches when open and allows the windows to roll all the way up when latched. There is a third switch under the clam shell that indicates the top is fully open or fully closed . WebJan 14, 2012 · Also for the people whose window goes down when the handle is pulled but up when released you probably have a bad micro switch in the door latch mechanism. Unfortunately you can,t replace the switch and you must replace the whole mechanism which is a costly $200 part. 01-14-2012, 09:28 AM.
